ABSTRACT
The article reports on the changes in the development of textbook and supplemental programs in California. The program development is fueled by upcoming textbook adoptions in major disciplines in 2007, which the state is expected to approve a list of programs for school adoption. Furthermore, part of this year's activities is crystallizing several trends in the development of textbook including broader roles for development firms.
