ABSTRACT
The article reports that the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) has expanded its sustainable initiatives. It provides an overview of the AHFA's Enhancing Furniture's Environmental Culture, an environmental management program for furniture manufacturers. The organization has joined the Sustainable Furniture Council, a coalition of furniture suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and associations headed by Gerry Cooklin, chief executive officer of South Cone.
