ABSTRACT
The article reports on the marketing strategies by the U.S.-based digital video recorder (DVR) maker TiVo to attract more cable operators. The company will offer a lower-priced, high-definition DVR by August 2007, known as the TiVo high-definition box which includes support for multistream CableCards. The company has established a dedicated CableCard support group to assist consumers.
