Multichannel News;7/30/2007, Vol. 28 Issue 30, p3
The article reports on a petition filed by EchoStar Communications with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission to declare the Big Ten Network a regional sports network and not a national channel. The petition was filed related to an arbitration of a dispute with a News Corp.-affiliated sports service. If granted, the petition would allow EchoStar to seek arbitration so it can secure carriage of the startup network on reasonable terms.
