Motorola, Aurora revamp their CWDM solutions

The article reports that Motorola and Aurora Networks have introduced enhancements to their coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) technology in the U.S. Motorola's enhanced CWDM transmits multiple wavelengths on a single fiber and the bandwidth has been increased five times. On the other hand, Aurora's improved CWDM Ethernet transport solution allows cable operators to give Ethernet over a shared optical access network at a higher speed.
