ABSTRACT
The article discusses the introduction of LabChip90, a microfluidics based on sipper chip technology developed by Caliper Life Sciences. The microfluids device is design to separate and quantitate DNA and protein samples. According to vice president Mark Roskey, the electrophoresis is fully automated in the Laboratory Chip, and the software automatically quantitates the size of the product and creates a digital map of the separation.
