Showtime for Toback doc

The article reports that Showtime has acquired "The Outsider," a documentary about film writer and director James Toback. Director Nicholas Jarecki shot the documentary on the set of "When Will I Be Loved," an independent project that Toback filmed in 12 days with no script. "The Outsider" will be aired in August 2007. The home video rights were acquired by Netflix's Red Envelope label.
