Steel Dust Recycling Plant to Service South

The article reports on the plan of Steel Dust Recycling LLC to construct a Waelz Kiln facility in Millport, Alabama. The aim of the construction is to recycle 110,000 tons every year of still dust which is a by-product of electric arc furnaces. Russ Robinson, the company's president said that the Waelz Kiln facility is recognized as the best available recycling technology which will recover zinc from the dust.
