ABSTRACT
The article reports that the European Commission has formally called for proposals for funds from the newly agreed Trans-European Networks programme for energy, announcing a deadline for applications of August 31, 2007. These will cover bids for seed funding from a €155 million budget that will stretch until 2013, generally meeting 10 percent of costs for building energy infrastructure.
