ABSTRACT
The article reports that Iberdola has announced a second major acquisition just two months after completing its takeover of ScottishPower. The Spanish utility will pay €3.4 billion in an agreed offer for Energy East, which owns utilities that generate, distribute and retail gas and electricity in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
