ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of the Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) to invest about Rs 25,000 crore to set up a 15 million ton (mt) refinery and petrochemicals complex in Ennore in Tamil Nadu to maintain its position as India's largest refiner. It notes that the IOC plans to establish a naphtha cracker and aromatics complex in Ennore to utilize the products from the refinery.
