ABSTRACT
The article cites a study, conducted by D. Menzies and colleagues, which focuses on the diagnostic accuracy of commercially available interferon-Γ release assays (IGRAs) for diagnosing latent tuberculosis (TB) in healthy or immunosuppressed persons. The study was published in an issue of "Annals of Internal Medicine." The researchers used English-language studies using QuantiFERON or Elispot tests with overnight incubation of peripheral blood lymphocytes stimulated with RDI antigens.
