ABSTRACT
The article cites a study, conducted by P. Jeetley and colleagues, which focuses on the clinical and economic effects of using stress echocardiography (SEcho) or exercise electrocardiography (ExECG) in patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome and a negative cardiac troponin test to predict risk for serious coronary artery disease (CAD). The study was published in an issue of the "European Heart Journal." The researchers conducted randomized controlled trial in a hospital in England.
