ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of European Union (EU) farm ministers in Luxembourg to reform the FVP authorizations for English fruit, vegetable and potato growers claiming single-farm payments (SFP). It says that the new policy aims to simplify the claims process in England. EU agriculture commissioner Mariann Fischer Boel states the reform would make the sector more competitive and market-orientated.
