ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. chemical companies will soon be able to check the identities of their employees and job applicants against a national terrorist database maintained by the federal government. Larry Stanton, head of compliance at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), said that the initiative is part of the new chemical plant security regulations now being enforced.
