ABSTRACT
The article reports on the growth in the business of Akzo Nobel in China. The company expects to achieve revenues of $2 billion. Hans Wijers, CEO, said Akzo Nobel expects 20 percent of group sales to come from the Asia-Pacific region, which means almost doubling the region's contribution to group sales over the next five years. Akzo Nobel generated sales of $887 million in China in 2006.
