ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the findings of a survey on hospital infrastructure conducted by the periodical "Health Facilities Management" and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. The study found a strong demand for upgrading and fixing building services equipment and systems. It cites the difficulties faced by hospitals in finding funds for infrastructure upgrades. It notes that the funds allocated for hospital infrastructure improvement do not seem to be increasing significantly.
