ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rejection made by Ventana Medical Systems on the takeover offer of Roche in Arizona. The board of directors of Ventana Medical Systems have unanimously voted for the rejection of the hostile takeover offer of Roche and it has also recommended that the shareholders of the company will also reject the move. According to Christopher Gleeson, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Ventana, Roche's public disclosure are attempts of misleading the public.
