ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the environmental impact of air travel and offers ways on how travelers can help reduce the impact. It is stated that flying causes global warming because of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions. To counteract carbon dioxide and other greenhouse-gas emissions from flights, a new group of companies sells carbon offsets. Details of recommended carbon offsetter companies, their classifications and the offset costs are presented.
