This article reports on the Down Under Tour sponsored by Bank of America Corp. To showcase its sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic team at the 2000 Games in Sydney, Bank of America is supporting a 12-month, 48-city tour exposing individuals to Australian culture. The tour includes a portable version of the Sydney Opera House, a five-story Olympics torch, an Outback Airlines simulator ride and a rock climbing challenge. Free to consumer, the tour began on September 15, 1999 in New York City. It will end on September 17, 2000.
