This article reports on the opening of Asian-American Web sites to advertisers seeking Asians of all origins. "The Internet really has opened up the possibilities of advertising to Asians, especially in the U.S.," says Wei-Tei Kwok, president of Dae Interactive Marketing in San Francisco, California. "It allows marketers to reach into the nooks and crannies of America, to ethnic Asian communities that have not had access to news, information and products. Sites most frequently mentioned as leading portals by industry executives include Sina.com, Chinese.Yahoo.com, AsianAvenue.com and Click2Asia.com.
