Printing system creates fluorescent security without fluorescent inks

The article reports on the printing system technique which creates fluorescent security without fluorescent inks developed by Raja Bala, a principal scientist at the Xerox Research Center and Reiner Eschbach, a research fellow in the Xerox Innovation Group. The technique is based on the use of standard inks to suppress fluorescing optical brighteners. A way to choose combination of the cyan, magenta, yellow and blank inks was developed.
