Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;Jul2007, Vol. 79 Issue 7, p28
The article relates how air-intake filter screens can help increase the effectiveness of condenser-coil and cooling-tower maintenance. Air-intake filtration is a useful way to prevent equipment fouling, which is designed to mount on the outside of the equipment. These screens stop airborne debris before it enters the system, where it can be seen and quickly removed using a broom, brush or shop vacuum or by rinsing with a garden hose.
