The article features the rifle shooting competition organize for Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) held on April 15, 2007 at the Carlos Hathcock Range Complex, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. The event featured several PVA members including U.S. Navy veteran Kenny Rogers and retired U.S. Marine Major James Russell, and reportedly the first event that welcomed civilian to join the competition. Moreover, the event had been funded by the PVA Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund.
