ABSTRACT
The article reports that BBC World News has launched an advertising campaign to increase its market penetration in the United States. The news channel recruited map-piece bearing workers on street corners to gain the interest of consumers. According to Rome Hartman, executive producer of BBC News U.S. the campaign was timed to take advantage of consumers dissatisfied with international news coverage.
