ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Association of Corporate Travel Executives' (ACTE) initiative to reduce carbon emissions. ACTE is collaborating with British Airways PLC (BAP) to offset emissions from its conferences in Miami, Florida and in Munich, Germany in 2007. BAP sponsors an offset that will achieve an equivalent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by replacing fossil fuels with renewable biofuels.
