The article reports that Volkswagen of America Inc. has agreed to a marketing partnership with SCORE International to become its official vehicle and six-race Desert Series. SCORE chief executive officer (CEO)/president Sal Fish states that Volkswagens (VWs) are part of the foundation of desert racing. Fish relates that VW was the firm's first-ever official vehicle. Volkswagen of America's motorsport manager Clark Campbell cites the plan of the firm to have a significant presence at SCORE races.
