ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Texas Bamboo Society had its Third Annual Porter Grove bamboo cleaning on March 3, 2007. Many volunteers had participated in the cleaning and beautification of the grove and they were given dozens of plants and hundreds of poles for free. The event was remarkably accomplished and the author of the "Magazine of the American Bamboo Society," Harry Simmons, of the Texas Chapter states that if allowed, he would still visit the beautiful bamboo grove.
