ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's experience with a turtle. He narrates that he met the turtle when his biology-teaching cousin caught it, along with two lively frogs, and put it in the trunk of his car. He then tried to feed the turtle with lettuce and pints of water, despite its being imprisoned down in the fender of the car. And it was only freed when he could not hear its scratch anymore. Although he thought of keeping the turtle, he still decided to put the turtle on its proper place.
