The article reports that NBC Universal Inc. has closed its video aggregation and distribution service National Broadband Co. (NBBC) for a joint online venture with News Corp. in the U.S. It states that the venture would offer short and long video programs on its own site as well as through other web sites. Chief digital officer George Kliavkoff notes that the broadband venture between NBBC and NewSite would provides a broadest online distribution network.
