ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of INEOS Group to buy the Norwegian petrochemicals operations of Borealis for $392 million on a debt-free basis. According to INEOS Group, the businesses in Norway were a complementary fit with its existing olefins and polyolefins portfolios and would provide access to polymer markets in Scandinavia.
