ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a management buy-out of an animal nutrition plant in Isando, South Africa completed by BASF. New owners Christel Coetzee and Deon Elsworth have bought an equal number of shares in the company. Under a supply and technical agreement, the new owners will become exclusive distributor of BASF animal nutrition products in the country. BASF sold its animal nutrition premix business in eight countries to Netherlands-based animal feed group Nutreco in February 2007.
