Aromatics slide on weaker US market

The article reports on the downward trend in prices of aromatic compounds due to the weak U.S. chemical market as of June 2007. Costs of naphthalene in Asia dropped. Butadiene (BD) prices in Europe decreased to $1,220-1,260 per metric ton. European styrene prices declined to a notional $1,440 to 1,480 per metric ton.
