The article focuses on the upcoming acquisition of Huntsman Corp. by Basell Polyolefins' parent group, Access Industries Inc. for $9.6 billion. According to Peter Huntsman, Chief Executive Officer Huntsman Corp., management changes are unlikely to follow the acquisition. It is observed that Huntsman Corp., the world's largest producer of amines and epoxy formulations, expects that by the end of 2008 it will have more associates in India and China than in North America.
