ABSTRACT
The article offers information about Bayer AG's decision to replace its historic cross logo. It is observed that the company wants to replace the 52-meter high cross with 1,712 incandescent bulbs that has been suspended in its current incarnation for more than half a century in Leverkusen, Germany, with a new LED version, 40 meters in diameter. It is noted that many people are opposing this move because they fear that this will cause Leverkusen lose one of its few signs.
