ABSTRACT
The article reports on Phil Donahue's film, "Body of War" which is one of the most-talked documentary in film and television circles in the U.S. The talkshow host has welcomed various acquisition executives to his home for private screenings. Donahue has personally financed the movie and has co-directed it with Texas filmmaker Ellen Spiro. The film tells a story of a wounded soldier's attempt to readjust to life in the U.S. as a handicapped veteran.
