Country Report
This article presents a country risk assessment on Moldova. There is hope that the country's dispute with Russia over the Transdniestria region will be resolved. It says that the country's energy imports rose by 19% in the first quarter of 2007, mainly from Russia. It is expected that the country's current account deficit will remain around 7.3% of gross domestic product (GDP). There is continued delay in the reform implementation in the business sector.
