Gov't talks TV rights

The article reports on the demand for more rights for television production firms by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to improve the global and Internet distribution of Japanese content. The panel which is established by the broadcasters wants broadcasters to surrender some of these rights for a trial period in fiscal 2008.
