ABSTRACT
The article reports that despite the recommendations by health professionals, people in the U.S. are still not consuming large volume of vegetables. The April 2007 Vegetables and Melons Outlook, published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service (ERS), reports that per capita consumption actually fell three percent in 2006 and is expected to rise only slightly in 2007.
