In this article, the author features his experience attending the National Restaurant Show held in Chicago, Illinois in May 2007. Vendors at the show wanted to pitch him their products and services. While listening to the messages of the representatives of the different foodstuffs and pieces of equipment, the author tried to assess the value of such products and companies to readers of the magazine "FoodService Director."
