The article reports on a personal touch brought by Aurora Health Care Inc. to its Adopt-A-Floor dining program in the U.S. Under the program, the hospital's chefs, dieticians, nurse managers and other food operations staff walk their floors and visit patients, asking them about their overall satisfaction with meals and other issues. According to John Riegler, regional director of foodservice management at Aurora, one of the most important roles of the program is in providing service recovery.
