ABSTRACT
The article features the farmers' market launched at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. The market usually features seven to nine vendors from local family farms that sell fresh produce and homemade products. According to Peter Rossi, associate director of dining services, they started the market as a way to introduce students to more local products. He also added that students are building relationships with the local farmers, and they are learning about sustainability.
