The article reports on the ability of Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun, owners of BermanBraun, to secure a deal with screenwriter Zak Penn to develop a hourlong action thriller for television in the U.S. Penn is currently working on a project dubbed "Section Eight," a nonserialized take on the action thriller genre. Berman and Braun explain that they are focusing on specific projects from writers.
