ABSTRACT
The article provides updates on the global prices of monoethylene glycol (MEG). According to consultancy Tecnon OrbiChem company, glycols prices will decline if there is no significant rationalization of production in 2008, and if crude oil and naptha prices remain at current levels. It is expected that capacity growth of almost 9% is expected in 2006-2013, compared with demand growth of almost 5% per year.
