ABSTRACT
The article reports on the stabilization of the chlorinated solvents market in Europe for 2006. According to the European Chlorinated Solvents Association (ECSA), chlorinated solvents sales in European Union has totaled 214,000 tonnes for the year, which is down by 1% in 2005. However, the reclassification of trichloroethylene (TCE) as a carcinogen in 2002 has made the decline of demand which affect the consumption and the market.
