ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of the British government to reduce its stake in British Energy from 64 per cent to 36 per cent after an accelerated disposal of shares in the nuclear generator. The announcement came as British Energy reported disappointing output in preliminary figures for the year to March 30, 2007.
