ABSTRACT
The author shares the story of his father who is a saxophone player. The author is a professional baseball player, and his father played saxophone to nearly 55,000 fans before their game in September 2006 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He watched anxiously from the top step of the dugout and followed every note, praying for him to do his best. According to the author, music is as vital as breathing to his father's life.
