ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court to refuse the school desegregation plans that gave some Democrats bad memories of the pre-civil rights. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton asserts that the Roberts Court has shown its willingness to erode core constitutional guarantees. Senator Joseph Biden also agrees with former Senator John Edwards that the personal liberties of every American would be threatened even more if another conservative is allowed on the Roberts Court.
