ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to finance an Independent Day advertising campaign in the U.S. The DCCC will run radio advertisement in 14 districts that will ask voters to support the increasing disability and retirement benefits of veterans. The scheme is a motion to recommit a conference report that will maximize the number of eligible veterans to receive full retirement and disability assistance.
