ABSTRACT
The article reports on the benefits offered concerning the growth of energy-related industrial projects to the steel industry in the U.S. It was inferred that steel products comprises half of the materials used in non-residential construction which recorded a 14 percent increase in the first quarter of 2007. However, it is anticipated that the decline of residential construction may affect the operation of nonresidential projects which caters a great impact on the country's steel industry.
